So I’ve come to the conclusion that I’ll be making about 200 dollars a week all summer which is 100 dollars more than I expected…
So screw it, I’m getting New Leaf!
Hey followers, I’ve been meaning to find myself a silly game to play when I’m stressed out and don’t feel like trying hard to “win” (like when I have a bad day). Is the new Animal Crossing really that good? I liked the two console games, but I never played the DS one. Is it still just as fun/worth the money?
As of right now I know absolutely nothing from E3 this year other than the fact that Nintendo (I think) is releasing a trailer for the new Super Smash Brother’s game and that might be reason enough to buy a Wii U because I’m just a sad little Nintendo fanboy at heart. Also Pokemon X and Y, but I already knew I wanted that.
Also DA3 but I still need to beat 2 whoops.
Wow, I totally forgot E3 was this week, but I’m on vacation with little internet (need to use data on my smart phone just to go on Tumblr) and no access to a television… really hoping all the posts I’m seeing aren’t the entirety of E3, and there’s a gem or two that G4 (or whatever everyone’s watching) isn’t covering.
Well, it wasn’t my BEST day in ranked, but all in all it was good. Still 100% with MF, and 100% with Kayle (in 5v5s, at least). Had a bad ADC in the Jax game and I don’t even want to talk about how bad I was in the Ahri game. No one else was really good, but I was easily the worst. I’m so out of practice with mid because I never play it. I should have been Twisted Fate, ugh.
Either way, still a net gain of LP. One more win and I’m up for my promotional series to get into Silver. Wish me luck!
I really forgot how rewarding supporting was. Build some support items, drop wards in key locations and just let your team carry you to victory. I should stop saying I can’t support in ranked games and just be a fill for everything. Also some nice ARAM matches. It’s funny how I can’t win with god damn TWISTED FATE, but you know, Mundo and Alistar? Yeah, no problem.
Also, on a somewhat related note
Does this look like a good build for Leona? I really love playing her, but I never quiet know how to build her. (That one awkward empty spot was a vision ward, but I threw it down at Baron a few minutes before the game ended).
Wow, so, uh, Uncharted was much shorter than I expected it to be… I was only on chapter 7 when I started today .-.
Still, other than some gameplay issues, it was a relatively good game, though I can see why everyone loves the characters so much, Nate, Sully and Elena are great, and the story was fun too. I’m sure the gameplay’s going to be a lot better in Uncharted 2 (which I will be starting tomorrow or Wednesday), and it may make it’s way into my never ending list of favorite game series, which would be cool.
Welp, I think it’s finally time to try and beat Uncharted. I’ve had the first two forever now and I still haven’t beaten either of them because the first’s gameplays kinda meh. But Nathan is so cool and apparently the later games gameplay is better so I’m going to power through

So, Game 1 was pretty standard, I got ADC so of course I picked Miss Fortune. It looks like I did well, yeah, but I only got those kills right before the enemy team surrendered. I wasn’t doing too hot at all early game, and died a few times to Vayne. Swain was the one who carried hard, and Renekton could almost take on the entire enemy team by himself and take two of them down, so I felt rather useless.
Game 2 I’m much more upset about, but not because of my (albeit god awful) score. I think we had Duo partners, Morde and Tryndamere, who went mid and top respectively. The enemy team picked MF, so I panicked and asked who I should play. Our support admitted he wasn’t great at support, so he decided to try Nunu, so everyone said Kog’Maw. I do pretty alright as him usually, so I figured why not. Morde and Trydamere were very confident in their lanes, so I figured if I just didn’t feed, they’d carry me. Clearly, we didn’t do so hot. However, what ticked me off was Tryndamere, exclaiming how bad me and Nunu were. Now, let me be clear, I wasn’t doing great, again, but he had no right. First of all, we had the EXACT SAME KILL SPREAD when he said this. He fed Zed just as much as I fed MF. Morde also fed Talon pretty hard, but he kept trying to stick up for me and Nunu, so it’s k. He also called my build bad because I rushed Blade of the Ruined King on Kog’Maw. “I main Kog’maw” he bolstered “You don’t build BotRK against MF. You build burst. No one on the enemy team has health”. I’m starting to get aggravated, because, yeah you do. Who main’s Kog’maw and doesn’t build BotRK? Morde chimed in claiming Trynd had no idea how Kog’maw works. At the end game, Trynd told me to “learn how to counter build” and not built BotRK against MF. 1) I’m a carry. I build damage output, and that’s it. MAYBE a defensive item last, but for the most part, some combination of life steal, attack damage, crit. 2) He had a Statikk Shiv, and that’s it. Nothing else. He’s telling me how to counter build when, after feeding Zed, he doesn’t have a lick of armor (or lifesteal, for that matter). 3) Even MF was saying he was wrong “Kog’maw’s build was fine, BotRK is good on him, I just out played him” (which is totally true, I god stomped. But, whatever, he was literally the only one who thought he was in the right. I’m just glad the rest of my team knew I was in the right, or I would have been very upset.
Game 3: Here’s where I realized I’m super useless. We got paired up with two Diamond or Platinum smurf accounts, and they claimed their roles. I was fine with it, if they were really Diamond, I just got an easy win. I picked MF again, God knows why considering the match I had 5 minutes prior, but I figured since I had a support who played support regularly, I might do a little better. I really didn’t. However, it wasn’t Taric’s fault, I’ve just been doing poorly, I think. However, Jarvan and Diana (or Diamond smurfs) carried us hard, and eventually Katarina began to do the same, and got a few quadra’s. Here’s where I realized I was useless. They could win teamfights 4 v 5 without me, I only went even, with one of the kills being stolen, and at the end of the game, I had the lowest damage output besides the two supports. Felt bad man :c However, when I made a mistake and died to Renekton, Jarvan told me to stay with the group. I apologized and said “sorry for being so useless, been having a bad streak” and Jarvan said something along the lines of “no, not useless :)”. Stupid stuff like that always cheers me up, honestly, even if he was lying.
Either way, lying or not, I’ve decided over the next few days I’m going to play more normal games and practice the other lanes so I’m not so useless. I want to be able to carry games like the Kog’maw game, and NOT be the lowest damage output.
